Home » Fertility Success Rates » Why Success Rates Matter
Success rates are a tricky subject – especially in Arizona. Many patients believe that all fertility clinics are the same. They choose a doctor based on which office is closest to their home or where their friend went. They fail to do any research, and can wind up wasting significant amounts of time and money.
At Advanced Fertility Care, we are proud that our success rates have consistently been some of the highest in the country. We focus all of our marketing initiatives on educating patients on success rates, and how to research success rates. We post our rates, updated quarterly, right on our website for all patients to see. Unfortunately, this is not true for many of the other fertility clinics in Arizona. Many clinics here do not want to talk about success rates. They hide their rates from patients, hoping that you will not realize that fertility success rates are required by federal law to be published by our government on the Centers For Disease Control (CDC) Website.
We STRONGLY encourage all patients to follow this link to the CDC website and spend 15 minutes doing your own research. We are confident that after you see the facts, you will then come back to us for your care.
Many patients ask us how we consistently achieve such high results. Here are a few of the key reasons:
The ultimate goal is to help couples to conceive. To work toward this end, our highly skilled team works diligently to stay on top of quality control. We make every effort to continually improve our knowledge base and our methods.
If you go through in vitro fertilization, you need assurance that you have the highest chance of achieving your goal of bringing a new life into your family.
Why would so many clinics not show their success rates? Do they have something to hide? Maybe they don't have the proven track record that we do. Do some research and see if you can find a clinic that matches our:
Recently, several Phoenix area IVF centers have advertised that their IVF success rates are "higher than the national average". Unfortunately, some centers are being less than truthful. The CDC and SART reports for some of these IVF centers show success numbers consistently below the national average. All in vitro fertilization clinics are not the same - evaluate a center's IVF success rates
The best way to increase the success of IVF is by having the procedures done at a high quality IVF program. There are important differences in success rates between clinics. For example, if you go to the CDC (or SART) site, you will find clinics with IVF live birth success rates ranging from below 25% to over 50% per egg retrieval procedure for women under age 35.
Other Clinics Claim That We Bias Our Results By Not Accepting Challenging Patients
When we started our education campaign in 2005, many clinics that had been hiding their poor success rates needed something to tell patients when they started asking questions. This one is our favorite – that we only accept patients that have a high likelihood for success. This statement is absurd for many of the following reasons:
